Welfare concerns for 10-year-old boy who went missing from park

A 10-year-old boy is missing after he was with his father in a Sydney park.

Mario Caruso was last with his father at Walter Gors Park in Dee Why, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, about 3pm on Wednesday.

The boy was reported missing by his father when he could not find his son.

NSW Police have information Mario was seen at Wynyard Railway Station about 6pm on Thursday.

There are concerns for the boy’s welfare as he suffers from medical conditions.

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command have started inquiries and are appealing to the community.

Mario is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 155cm tall and of medium build with short black hair.

The boy was last seen wearing a long grey jumper, blue shorts, black shoes and a beanie.
