Police are hunting down a man who robbed a convenience store using a fake handgun he created using his fingers.
The man entered the convenience store on 500 West El Segundo Boulevard, Los Angeles, just before midnight on November 11, The Los Angeles Police Department said.
In the video, he waits for multiple customers to leave the store before he approaches the counter to pay for a bottle of water.
Instead, of reaching for money, the man pulled out his “finger gun” and ordered employees to give him cash from the register.
“Take the money out now dog, NOW,” the robber yells.
He then jumped the counter, stole about US$300 and fled the scene on foot.
