Watch: Tim Walz gives closing arguments to Michigan voters

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), the vice presidential hopeful, is making his final pitch to voters in critical swing state Michigan on Friday, with Election Day less than a week away.

Walz is making several stops in the Great Lakes State Friday, offering closing remarks as early voting is set to conclude in the state. He gave remarks earlier in Detroit and will also visit Traverse City later this evening.

The campaign swing comes as recent polling shows Vice President Harris leading her GOP rival former President Trump in “blue wall” states, such as Michigan. The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s aggregate of surveys shows the vice president ahead of Trump in the battleground state by just half a point — 48.6 percent to 48.1 percent.

The event in Flint, Mich., is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. EDT.
