Watch: Harris courts voters on Halloween in swing state Arizona

Vice President Harris held a rally in battleground Arizona on Thursday afternoon as Election Day inches closer.

The event in Phoenix marked one of Harris’s last chances to rally Latino voters in the critical swing state. She will be joined at the Halloween rally by Mexican band Los Tigres del Norte.

Harris has stepped up her outreach to the key voting bloc in recent weeks, most notably after the fallout from a controversial joke about Puerto Rico during former President Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally over the weekend. An ABC News/Ipsos poll released Sunday showed the vice president growing her lead among Hispanic voters to 64 percent — up from 55 percent in early October.

The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s polling index shows Trump leading the vice president by 1.9 points in the Grand Canyon State — with 49 percent support to 47.1 percent.

Harris was scheduled to speak at 4:20 p.m. EDT.
