President Biden spoke early Monday afternoon at the Labor Department to highlight his administration’s efforts to strengthen America’s workforce.

The president’s appearance came as he is set to designate a national monument in Maine commemorating pioneering Labor Secretary Frances Perkins, who served as the nation’s first woman cabinet secretary under Franklin Roosevelt.

South Korea's military said on Friday that it suspects North Korea is preparing to send more troops to Russia to fight Ukrainian forces, even after suffering losses and seeing some of its soldiers captured.
