President Biden is slated to deliver remarks Thursday to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Violence Against Women Act.
The landmark legislation, signed by former President Clinton and sponsored by Biden when he was a senator, provides funding for programs to address domestic violence.
Thursday’s event is scheduled to begin at 5:45 p.m. EDT.
