Watch: JD Vance courts voters in battleground Arizona

Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), former President Trump’s running mate, is rallying voters in the critical swing state of Arizona on Wednesday, as early voting in the Grand Canyon State is set to begin.

He is expected to give remarks on election integrity in Tucson, Ariz., after Trump and the Arizona Republican Party announced a new team earlier this week focused on combating alleged election interference, according to the campaign.

Vance’s Democratic counterpart, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, is also campaigning in Tucson on Wednesday. Trump will visit the battleground state this weekend, holding a rally Sunday in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

The Hill and Decision Desk HQ’s polling index shows Trump leading his Democratic opponent Vice President Harris 48.8 percent support to 47.9 percent in the state.

The event is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. EDT.
