A man wanted in Queensland and his girlfriend have been arrested without incident at a remote property in South Australia's far north.
The 28-year-old man and the 30-year-old woman had been on the run in SA since crossing over the border in an allegedly stolen car on Monday afternoon.
They were detained early on Thursday morning on the Warraweena Station, southeast of Leigh Creek.
They have been taken to Port Augusta where they will be charged with border breach, acts to endanger life, driving to evade police and petrol thefts.
The pair are expected to appear in Port Augusta Magistrates Court later on Thursday.
Queensland police are expected to extradite the man back to Brisbane once the SA charges are dealt with.
He is wanted for questioning over an alleged assault last month near Mackay.
