How Do Non-Americans View This Year’s Presidential Election?

Non-Americans (outside the U.S.) may not be participating in America’s 2024 election, but it’s still one of the most talked about political events —for better or worse— around the world. And those watching have a lot of opinions.

Our media outlets dictate their views and thoughts about the United States election, so what they see is what they get. Lately, they’ve seen a lot of images about the way non-Americans —who became citizens— are being treated.

Some know what it’s like to experience the spectacle. Others don’t. Either way, many tune in purely for the entertainment.

So today, with tensions at an all-time high, I want to know what non-Americans think about this year’s American presidential election. Is it stressing you out? Are you on edge, waiting for the results like the rest of us? Or does it simply not affect you?
