Discovery of man who missed wife giving birth after disappearing five months ago
A man who has been missing for five months, and even missed the birth of his child, has been found living overseas.
Yi Sun, from Canning Vale in Perth, disappeared on October 15 last year, leaving behind his pregnant wife.
Police held serious concerns for Mr Sun's welfare, as he had left his wallet behind and had not been in contact with his family members over the five months he had been missing.
A spokesperson for WA Police confirmed they have received new information indicating Mr Sun is overseas.
"We don't have further concerns for his welfare at this time," the spokesperson said.
Mr Sun previously went missing for just over a week in July last year, prompting police to appeal for information about his whereabouts before he was found safe and well.
