Woman mauled to death in Perth dog attack

A woman in her 50s has died after being mauled by two dogs in Perth.

On Tuesday, police were called to a property on Terrier Place in Southern River which also serves as a canine boarding kennel.

A woman received life threatening injuries from the dogs, believed to be a mastiff and a Staffordshire bull terrier, and she was declared dead by St Johns Ambulance officers, The ABC reported.

According to neighbours, the woman's body was found by her daughter after she did not show up to work.

The dogs were seized by City of Gosnells Rangers.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
