WATCH: Giant croc filmed dragging cow down WA river

A massive crocodile has been filmed dragging the body of a fully-grown cow down a river in Western Australia.

When a few mates set out for “a day’s barra fishing” in the Kimberley, Western Australia, they didn’t expect to find a 5 to 6 metre crocodile dragging a cow down to the riverbank.

The fishermen, who run Trip in a Van Facebook page, shared the remarkable drone footage where they can be heard marvelling at the strength and size of the reptile.

“We actually saw it drag this cow off the bank a bit further up but we weren’t quick enough with the camera to see it,” one of the fishermen can be heard saying.

“That was probably a couple of kilometres away, so he’s not giving it up in a hurry.”

“See the bite marks in the top of the neck where the head used to be,” his mate points out.

The men said the croc became increasingly frustrated with the drone buzzing over him.

It eventually attempted to pull the bloated cow underwater but struggled to do so.
