'Out of control' party house angers Perth neighbours

Neighbours were furious when a Perth house held three parties in three days - the last one so out of control police officers called in the Police Air-Wing for backup.

Residents in Yangebup near Cockburn Central are angry after police were repeatedly called to large and noisy parties at the same house three days in a row.

Neighbours say they are fed up with constant parties at the house, but organisers claim they are mostly fundraising events.

The most recent party was so large, more than 150 people spilled out onto Beeliar Drive, with police declaring it 'out of control' after it was advertised on Facebook.

One of the residents, Troy, says Friday night's party was to celebrate an 18th birthday, Saturday's party was a farewell and Sunday's party was a fundraiser for a friend who has been diagnosed with cancer.

Police say they were pelted with rocks and bottles when they arrived, but Troy says it was police who threw them back at the crowd.

"It was all going pretty well until the police rocked up, barged in, unwelcome," he said.

Nearby residents say the tenants moved in around three months ago and parties have been thrown every weekend.

Fed up neighbours did not want to go on camera but say their teenage children have previously been charged a $10 entry fee.

Asked if he would hold another party after this weekend's police visit, Troy says: "Any time, in a drop beat."
