Powerlifting champion has nose reattached after bottle thrown through car window

An Australian powerlifting champion has undergone intensive plastic surgery to reattach her nose after a beer bottle was allegedly pelted through her car window.

Kat Becker, 33, was the victim of an alleged road rage attack in Wundowie, Western Australia on Saturday night.

Her partner, Rhee, was in the passenger seat when the ordeal unfolded.

"There was blood coming from all the gashes on her face, it was pumping out, it was very scary," she told 7 News.

“Please ring the police... she was yelling out names of streets to me so police could track where we were going."

Police claim the attack was unprovoked and said the aggravated driver followed the pair around town for 20 minutes before tossing the glass bottle through the window.

Western Australia's strongest woman is now recovering in hospital while a 27-year-old man has now been charged with unlawful wounding.

“I’m really happy she wasn’t alone,” Rhee added.
