Chinese officials have reported at least three coronavirus cases in a northeastern province as China continues to see infection clusters develop.
Authorities in the city of Dalian ordered the closure of markets after detecting a cluster linked to a seafood processing company
Theatres, night clubs and indoor tourist attractions in Liaoning province were also closed to stem further infections.
Overall, China reported 21 new coronavirus cases in the mainland for July 23, down from 22 cases a day earlier,
The Liaoning infections mark China's latest cluster after one in the far northwestern region of Xinjiang earlier this month. That outbreak, focused on the regional capital of Urumqi, infected dozens of people and officials curbed travel and ordered widespread testing.
Elsewhere, China has largely contained the virus, with major cities such as Beijing and Shanghai opening up to increased economic activity and social interaction.
