WATCH: Amorous emu gets up close and personal with Commodore
Hilarious footage has emerged on Facebook of an amorous emu getting better acquainted with the bumper bar and front bonnet of a white Commodore in the western suburbs of country Victoria.
Facebook user Sean Armstrong posted the video on Thursday of a very friendly emu with the caption: "You know you're in #straya when you go outside to find an emu making love to your Commodore".
"What are you doing? Get off me car!", Mr Armstrong can be heard saying.
But the emu ignores him, continuing to rub his body up and down. The emu even lets Mr Armstrong reach out to touch him.
Mr Armstrong said he had to get the footage to prove there was a good reason why he was a little late for work.
"Day made", writes one Facebook friend.
Another writes: "Is that the crazy emu that runs all over your paddock?"
Mr Armstrong writes back: "Most attention-seeking emu you'll ever meet."
