Woman allegedly breaks into home, defecates in pizza box for owner to find

A woman who allegedly broke into a Brisbane home and defecated in a pizza box, leaving it for the homeowner to find, has been released on bail to undertake a mental health assessment.

It is alleged Anthea Lynell Ball broke into the Chermside West property while the 54-year-old resident was home on Saturday night.

Police say she then decided to poo in an empty pizza box, then taking it from the kitchen into the laundry where it was left.

“She’s done the disgusting thing of defecate in the house,” NewsCorp reports Sgt Matt Kahler telling the court.

“She defecates in an empty pizza box.”

Ms Ball also allegedly stole wine and keys to the man’s BMW.

She was later found inside the 54-year-old’s car after allegedly smashing the windscreen with a bottle of stolen wine.

The 25-year-old appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday, charged with burglary, unlawful entry to a car and willful damage.

Counsel for Ms Ball said the 25-year-old needed to be released for an involuntary treatment order at Prince Charles Hospital.

The matter returns to court on October 31.
