Man broadcasts 'world's worst date' on social media

What do you do when a date goes south? Torment the poor woman until she leaves, apparently.

A man in UK has provided running updates on Whatsapp after an icy attempt at courtship, in his words, went down like the Titanic.

When his would-be partner appeared more interested in her smartphone than her date, the man turned to a Football group on social media app Whatsapp to ask for advice.

Instead of being advised to make an excuse about a family emergency so he could bail, the helpful lads on Whatsapp instead suggested a series of dares.

“No idea what to do, shall I leave?” the unidentified suitor wrote.

He was promptly informed this would not be acceptable and was instead presented with a series of tasks to perform, all of which would require video evidence to satisfy the audience.

The man duly obliged and from that point on the date certainly became more interesting.

Our hero began by ruffling the woman’s hair and asking her if she’d had a hair cut.

She responded like this:

The observant crowd noted the young woman “didn’t look to happy”. She quickly excused herself for a moment as the next requests came in.

The man noted she had left for the bathroom before the mains had even arrived. His friends told him that, when they did, he should steal her fork from her hand as she was eating.

So he did.

Her look of confusion deepened but Romeo was still not done.

The helpful council on Whatsapp then decided it was time to spice up the conversation a bit more, instructing the man to ask his date if she had ever eaten a toenail.

That did the trick.

From that point she didn’t even bother pretending their was a family emergency, grabbing her coat and hightailing it out of the Soho restaurant as the world’s worst dinner date victoriously put his feet up on the table.
