'The View's Alyssa Farah Griffin Reveals Shocking Political First With Endorsement on Election Day
Alyssa Farah Griffin, political strategist and one of the hosts of the popular talk show The View, shared a surprising first during the show's wrap-up comments about the 2024 presidential election on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
The show, which is known for taking on controversial topics of conversation, has been talking about Vice President Kamala Harris and presidential candidate Donald Trump throughout the campaign, but Farah Griffin's new comments might've shocked some viewers.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg began the conversation by asking everyone else, "How are you feeling?" with Farah Griffin saying she felt "anxious, but hopeful."
"Four years ago today, I was in the White House with Donald Trump on election night. I was there standing next to one of his Cabinet officials when Arizona was called for Joe Biden, and when it became increasingly clear that he was going to lose," she went on, explaining her history with the Republican party.
But Farah Griffin then said, "I thought the next four years would be the Republican party rebuilding...and turning the page on Donald Trump, and it didn't do that."
"So this weekend, on Saturday, for the first time in my life, I voted for a Democrat," she declared to her co-hosts and audience members.
Many started cheering, and Farah Griffin explained that she voted for Harris and voted Republican for the rest of the ballot positions, saying, "I consider my vote on loan to her."
Farah Griffin elaborated on what led to her shocking decision, stating, "I don't agree with a lot of her policies. We can criticize those down the road, but today it's about a brighter future and I think the best thing for the country and the future of the Republican party is that Donald Trump lose and that Kamala Harris is elected."
Many fans shared appreciation for Farah Griffin's honesty and compelling decision.
