Bachelor In Paradise viewers threaten to boycott the show as fan favourite goes home

Bachelor In Paradise fans have been left heartbroken after their favourite Bachie star Abbie Chatfield was sent home on Thursday night.

Abbie had been hopeful that Jamie Doran would give her a rose after promising to do so, only to give it to Brittney Weldon instead – someone he'd also promised his rose to.

Bachelor In Paradise fans have been left heartbroken after their favourite Bachie star Abbie Chatfield was sent home on Thursday night.

Unsurprisingly, Abbie was blindsided by the move.

Jamie told her earlier in the episode, "You're not going home, OK? I'll make sure you get a rose, alright?"

Some fans took to Twitter saying that they won't even bother watching the show now that Abbie has left.

One fan wrote, "Nooooooo! Abbie was the only interesting one. I hope there's more drama coming, otherwise I'm done."

Another added, "Okay well that was fun for two episodes, I don't wanna watch without Abbie."

"Well now that Abbie's gone I don't have to watch the rest of the season," someone else wrote.

"Abbie [deserved] better," another fan wrote.

Others slammed the editing making them think Abbie would be the main star of the season, "I was only watching for Abbie! You really had us thinking she was going to be a main person this season!"

However, one fan believed that the show's producers would bring her back as an intruder.

Abbie herself admitted that she was trying to convince Jamie to give her his rose as a ploy to stay on the show.

She said, "Jamie's keen on me. I'm not keen on Jamie. But I'd be fine to accept a rose from him. It's just so I can get through to the next round of boys."

After finding out she hadn't received a rose, she told the cameras, "I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm fine. I cannot believe this."

Jamie later said that he felt like the victim, despite the fact he promised both women his rose.

"Why does the drama follow me around? I honestly don't know. Feel like I'm in a bit of a firestorm already."
