Bank accounts containing more than $1 million have been frozen and two Vietnamese nationals in Perth have been charged as part of an ongoing police investigation.

After suspicious financial transactions were spotted, police froze several bank accounts and executed search warrants at residences in Ballajura and Morley, where more than $10,000 in cash was among the items seized.

A 44-year-old man and 36-year-old woman have been charged with dealing with property reasonably suspected of being proceeds of crime, and will appear in court later on Thursday.
