High Winds Churn Ocean Off Coast of Ocean City

High winds from a powerful nor’easter churned the waters off the coast of Ocean City, Maryland, on Friday, March 2. Wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour were expected in the city, a news report said.

The storm, which battered much of the northeast on Friday, was expected to trigger coastal flooding. The winds were forecast to persist through Saturday.
