Heavy Rain Turns Tennessee's Little River Into Rough Rapids

Heavy rain created rough rapids inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee on Monday, February 12.

Rainfall totals inside the park from Friday through Monday were 3.87 inches at Cades Cove and 4.02 inches at Mount LeConte, the National Park Service said on Facebook. Rangers warned people to use extra caution in the park because of the recent rainfall.
