Gas Explosion Causes Damage to Ankara Tax Office

An explosion in a gas boiler room caused extensive damage to a tax office and surrounding vehicles in Ankara, Turkey, on February 1, according to officials.

Governor of Ankara Ercan Topaca said the cause of the blast, which occurred in the city’s Çukurambar district, was being investigated. He also said there were “no casualties.” However, Turkish media reports said three people were slightly injured.
