Nutella Promotion Leads to Scuffles in French Supermarket
A promotion for a sale on jars of Nutella led to scuffles in some supermarkets across France on January 25.
Several Intermarché stores announced that they would offer 950g jars of Nutella for €1.41 each – a 70 percent reduction on its regular price. The result was Black Friday-like scenes as shoppers pushed and shoved each other out of the way to reach the shelves, as seen in this video.
