High Winds Create Dust Storm on Dutch Beach

Winds of up to 120 km/h (75 mph) battered the Netherlands on January 18, causing destruction across the country.

A code red warning was put in place for central parts of the country, and a code orange for the rest. Authorities suspended all flights to and from Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport due to the conditions.
