Aerial Footage Shows Ice Jam on the Saco River

Flooding caused ice jams on the Saco River in Maine and New Hampshire, as shown in footage captured by New Hampshire residents Heather Leach-and Roger Marcoux on January 13.

Ice jams happened across the Northeast after higher temperatures melted ice on rivers over the previous week, causing flooding, according to reports. Freezing temperatures descended back on the region over the weekend. Credit: Heather Leach-Richards & Roger Marcoux via Storyful
