Coast Guard Boat Cuts Through Sea Ice Near Boston

A Coast Guard boat patrolled the sea off Boston on Wednesday, January 10, to cut up ice which had formed near Boston Logan International Airport.

Temperatures of up to 50 degrees Fahrenheit were expected to hit towns in eastern Massachusetts on January 11, causing a lot of ice melt, according to CBS Boston. After that, a “flash freeze” was expected over the weekend.
