Woman Helps Fellow Drunk Aussie Board Flight From Dubai
Australians stick together no matter where they are in the world. A Victorian woman captured hearts of the internet for helping a fellow Aussie board his flight after drinking too much during a connecting Dubai flight.
Geelong woman Grace Cheatley noticed another passenger, Boris Pascoe, struggling to collect his luggage from an overhead locker on an Emirates flight on November 10 at Dubai International Airport. After watching him fall over while disembarking the flight, she offered to help him get to his terminal.
The two bonded and joked from the tarmac to the terminal, down the escalators, through a security checkpoint and to the boarding gates where she fed and hydrated Pascoe, who lovingly calls Cheatley his “guardian angel” and “Wonder Woman”. Credit: Grace Cheatley via Storyful
