Headphone-Wearing Thief Jumps Out of Car While Being Chased by Police
A headphone-wearing thief decided to take evasive action while being chased by police, jumping out of a stolen car before it crashed into trees at Grasstree Beach, near Sarina in north Queensland, on the evening of December 30.
According to police, the sedan was stolen from a Mackay hotel on December 14.
Police attempted to intercept the vehicle and the man driving it, described as in his 20s, at about 2:15am on December 30.
