Palestine Supporters Rally in Paris Prior to Israeli Prime Minister's Visit

Hundreds of pro-Palestine protesters rallied in Paris on Saturday, December 9, to demonstrate against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned visit. Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron on December 10.

Video footage taken from La Place de la République on Saturday afternoon shows Palestine protesters shouting “shame, shame” as they condemned US President Donald Trump’s controversial decision to formally recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

They usually come usually around 8pm. “They also smash up nearby shop doors. We call police but they run away. “They just come in and disturb the customers. They don’t allow the customers to come inside.” Last week a group of youngsters stole a car and crashed into a homeowner’s Nissan Juke and demolished his wall. CCTV footage shows the stolen Honda 4x4 careering along the road before losing control and ploughing into the parked car on Worton Road.
