New York Red Bulls and Toronto FC Players Scuffle in Tunnel at Halftime During Playoff Game
An altercation broke out between players from Toronto FC and New York Red Bulls at halftime in the tunnels at BMO Field, during the second leg of the MLS Eastern Conference semi-final on Sunday, November 5.
The brawl saw Toronto FC’s Jozy Altidore and Red Bulls’ Sacha Kljestan both receiving red cards for violent misconduct.
A video shared to Twitter shows numerous players on both teams yelling and shoving, while security guards and police officers attempt to break up the scuffle. A number of fans can be seen watching the fight thanks to their Toronto FC Tunnel Club premium seats. Credit: Denny Keenan via Storyful
