Heavy Police Presence as Kim Jong-Nam Murder Accused Revisit Malaysia Airport

The two women accused of killing North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s half-brother revisited the Malaysian airport where the alleged crime took place on October 24, local media reported.

The tour, which lasted more than three hours and took in 10 to 15 locations, was part of the ninth day of the women’s trial. They are accused of killing Kim Jong Nam at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 in February 2017.

The visit to the airport terminal was organized to give those involved in the case, including the judge, prosecutors and defense lawyers, a better understanding of events.

The two accused, Siti Aisyah and Doan Thi Huong, who were handcuffed and wearing bulletproof vests, complained of fatigue and requested wheelchairs after an hour of walking through the airport, local media reported. Credit: Twitter/ Asyraf Hasnan/AWANI via Storyful
