Fast-Moving Wildfires Engulf Homes in Northern California

New video emerged showing wildfire engulfing a home in the Napa Valley neighborhood of Calistoga, California, on October 9.

Three fast-moving wildfires have caused an estimated 20,000 people to be evacuated as of Monday, according to news reports.

Gov. Jerry Brown issued an emergency proclamation on Monday for Napa, Sonoma, and Yuba counties and estimated at least 1,500 homes and commercial buildings were destroyed. The fires spread rapidly amid high winds and hot and dry weather.
