Singapore Zoo Welcomes First Male White Rhino Calf in 5 Years

Singapore Zoo welcomed its first male white rhino calf in five years on September 6.

The calf was “up and walking within an hour of birth” to mother Donsa, 32, who had had 11 babies. The zoo had previously sent some of the 21 white rhinos born there to Australia, Indonesia, Korea and Thailand as part of its animal exchange programme.
