Hail Pelts Lancaster During Strong Summer Storm

Hailstones rained down on Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on September 5 as the area experienced a summer storm that felled trees and power lines, leaving more than 11,000 without power.

According to reports from Lancaster Online, the central and northern areas of Lancaster County bore the brunt of the storm, and an estimated $100,000 to $120,000 of damage was caused due to toppled trees and debris.
