Los Angeles Announces Deal to Host 2028 Olympics
Los Angeles on July 31 announced that officials had reached a deal for the city to host the Olympic & Paralympic Games in 2028, four years after they had originally wanted.
Officials reached the agreement with the International Olympic Committee following weeks of negotiations and competition with Paris. Both cities wanted to host the 2024 Olympics.
