Can a Robot Pull the Perfect Pint?

While the craft of pulling the perfect pint usually relies on human expertise, it seems robots have mastered the art.

According to the BBC Leeds, the local engineering company, Quality Bearings, has been commissioned to build a pint-pulling robot.

Footage shows how the robotic contraption works. Starting with first an interactive screen for humans to click for a pint, the beer tap is mechanically pulled down, filling a pint glass. At the end of the footage, cheers are heard as the pint is filled to beery perfection.
