Taxi Overheats, Catches Fire on Fifth Avenue in New York City

A taxi went up in flames on Fifth Avenue in New York City, New York, after overheating on Monday, June 12. Temperatures hit 90 degrees Fahrenheit or higher in the city on Monday.

The fire started at just after 1:30 pm outside 435 Fifth Avenue, according to reports. The taxi driver was not in the car when emergency responders arrived.
