Controlled Explosion Carried Out After Suspicious Vehicles Reported Near US Embassy in London

London’s Metropolitan Police confirmed that an incident involving two unattended vehicles near the under-construction US Embassy in southwest London on June 7 was “not terrorism-related.”

The Guardian and other British media outlets reported that a controlled explosion was carried out after police were alerted to the two vehicles.
