Victorian wife-killer sentence appeal due

Borce Ristevski was jailed for at least six years after admitting to the manslaughter of his wife

Borce Ristevski will soon find out if his refusal to say how he killed his wife will land him more time in a Victorian jail.

The 55-year-old was jailed in April for at least six years with a maximum of nine years after admitting to the manslaughter of Karen Ristevski at the couple's Avondale Heights home in June 2016.

But prosecutors appealed against the sentence on the grounds it was manifestly inadequate. The judgment by the Court of Appeal will be handed down in Melbourne on Friday morning.
