Bieber fan hops on stage during performance

An overzealous Justin Bieber fan hopped on stage to get up close and personal with the popstar during his performance on Australia's Got Talent.

It looked like 14-year-old Amilia Radevska just wanted a hug as she threw her arms around her idol, before being carried off stage by talent judge Brian McFadden.

The teenager said she saw a hole in the beefed-up security team, and decided to make a break for it.

"I was looking around and saw a crack in security and thought 'Now or never," Radevska said. "He told me he loved me and it was all OK before I was dragged away."

The interruption happened during a post-performance interview with host Grant Denyer.

Bieber appeared unthreatened by the unexpected stage invader, patting the girl's shoulders and smiling before she was led away.

The Canadian-born singer is in Australia for a three-day tour to spruik his new album Believe, and his whirl-wind visit has whipped up a fan frenzy.

Social media has been awash with Bieber fever since the star's sneaky arrival in Melbourne on Sunday morning.

But thanks to a Twitter leak it didn't take long for his army of Beliebers to figure out where he was staying.

Fans, mostly teenage girls, camped outside the Olsen Hotel on Chapel Street.

Despite no planned public appearance, Bieber delighted screaming fans when he made time to say G'Day, signing autographs and posing for photos.

Hoards of teens also gathered to catch a glimpse of Bieber as he arrived at Docklands Central City Studio yesterday to record his medley of songs for the Grand Final of Channel Seven show, Australia's Got Talent.

But the teen heart throb is clearly loving the attention he is getting down under, tweeting today: "I'm loving Australia'.

Bieber's short but sweet visit to Melbourne was over by 5pm yesterday, and now he's in Sydney.

He is due to appear on Seven Network's Sunrise program on Wednesday morning.

During Justin's 2010 visit to Sydney, his planned Sunrise concert at Circular Quay was shut down by police due to unsafe conditions, leaving 5,000 Beliebers to storm the Sunrise studios in Martin Place.
