Desperate search for 57-year-old woman missing for a month
Police and SES volunteers have been searching a small coastal town for a woman who disappeared almost a month ago.
They hold grave concerns for Roberta Ives, who hasn't contacted her family and her bank accounts have not been touched since she went missing.
Volunteers have searched a 10km stretch of shoreline, trying to find out how she vanished.
The 57-year-old aged care worker lived alone in the small coastal Victorian town of Corinella.
Friends became concerned when they couldn't contact her on Monday.
"I actually called police to break in, to see if she was in there," friend Robyn Smith said.
Roberta left her house around 9am on February 26.
It's understood by 7 News that she was evicted from the rental property after falling behind in her payments.
She was seen walking down the road towards the beach and didn't take any of her belongings with her.

Roberta was spotted two days later at a local picnic area, where police say she was spoken to by a neighbour, but didn't respond.
While she has not been seen in almost a month, police say they are not losing hope yet.
They believe she could be sleeping rough somewhere around the town or may have caught public transport out of the area.
Roberta's friend has a message for the missing woman.
"There's always a bed at my place," Robyn Smith said.
"You can always come and stay with me and sort this out."
