A man has been charged over a Melbourne home invasion during which a man was threatened with a knife.
The 21-year-old and two other offenders allegedly walked into the unlocked home at Albion, in the city's west, late on Wednesday night before arming themselves with kitchen knives.
A man sleeping on a couch told the Nine Network he woke to find the trio standing over him.
The trio are accused of stealing multiple wallets and the 32-year-old's car before crashing it.
The 21-year-old arrested at the crash scene was later charged with offences including home invasion, aggravated burglary and motor vehicle theft.
He is due to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday afternoon while two other offenders remain on the run.
