Seven WA men charged over Melbourne brawl

Four more WA men have been charged over a Melbourne street brawl which left a man with serious head injuries.

A 19-year-old and three 18-year-olds were charged with affray, rioting, and assault-related offences.

Another WA 18-year-old was arrested and released without charge.

The group is accused of being in a fight involving about 20 people on Chapel Street, Prahan, around 1am last Thursday.

A 30-year-old man is in a stable condition at the Alfred Hospital after he was punched and kicked during the fight and two 29-year-olds were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police last week charged three WA men, two aged 20 and one 22, with a number of offences including affray, behave in a riotous manner, intentionally cause injury and unlawful assault.

All seven men were bailed to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on May 2.
