Boy, 13, arrested over SA armed robbery

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested after he allegedly held up an Adelaide service station armed with a knife.

The teenager made off with cash and cigarettes after threatening staff at a Windsor Gardens petrol station about 8pm on Friday, police say.

He was later arrested at a home in Oakden where detectives found the allegedly stolen items.

The Oakden boy was charged with aggravated robbery and refused bail.

He is due to face Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.
