Farmer stung to death by swarm of bees on Victorian farm
A gardener has died after a swarm of bees stung him on a farm in Victoria’s Grampians region.
The 30-year-old man was “stung by multiple bees” at the property at Dunkeld about 10am Wednesday, police confirmed.
Paramedics responded but he tragically died at the scene.
"It is understood the man was employed as a gardener at the property," Worksafe said in a statement.
The man's death is being investigated.
The farm is believed to belong to the Royal Mail Hotel, a two-hat rated restaurant owned by high-profile QC Allan Myers.
