Hunt for tattooed sex offender using public transport to get around Melbourne
Police have appealed for help to find a registered sex offender who is believed to be using public transport to get around Melbourne.
Adam Storch, 38, failed to give police his residential address and could be using a fake identity to evade authorities as he is known to go by the name "Dom Gatto."
Last week, police released a photo of the tattooed man, but said he is believed to have gained a "significant" amount of weight since it was taken.
On Monday they released a second image taken from a CCTV camera.
He has been described as "highly mobile", but he does not have access to a car.
Storch has been known to frequent the suburbs of Preston, Reservoir, Heidelberg, St Kilda, Prahran, South Melbourne and the CBD.
He has a tattoo of the name ‘Vanessa’ on his neck.
A man fitting Storch’s description was sighted by a member of the public at a shop in Kilsyth on August 18.
He was also seen at a business on Swanston Street on July 12.
Anyone who sees Storch is urged to contact Triple 0 immediately.
