Black Mercedes removed from Karen Ristevski's home
A black Mercedes has been removed from the home of Karen Ristevski's husband Borce, five months after her body was discovered in dense bushland.
On Monday, a tow-truck was seen removing the luxury car from the Avondale Heights home in Melbourne's north-west. Police were also on the scene, 3AW reported.
Ms Ristevski disappeared from the house in June last year.
Her body was found in bushland at Mt Macedon on February 20 by a bushwalker.
On Monday, CCTV footage revealed a black Mercedes identical to Ms Ristevski's being driven into her street.
The car is believed to have been followed by a police vehicle and a tow-truck. Just 15 minutes later, the black car was seen on the back of the tow-truck and headed in the direction they came from.
Ms Ristevski’s husband told police his wife had walked out of their home after an argument.
He said he then took her car for a drive on the Calder Highway to fix the faulty fuel gauge, but said he hit a bump and it corrected itself so he drove home.
On Thursday it was revealed Mr Ristevski reportedly cannot account for almost 100 minutes of the day his wife went missing, according to the Herald Sun.
He has denied any involvement in her disappearance.
