Two men charged after alleged triple stabbing outside Crown Casino

Two men have been charged after an alleged triple stabbing outside Melbourne’s Crown Casino overnight.

Paramedics were called to the scene in Melbourne’s Southbank on Saturday night after a brawl broke out between two groups of men.

They treated the three stabbing victims for multiple wounds at the scene.

One of the victims, a 29-year-old Cragieburn man, was allegedly stabbed during the brawl, suffering wounds to the upper body.

He was taken to hospital along with two other men, a 24-year-old Plumpton man and a 23-year-old from Craigieburn, who suffered minor injuries.

Police arrested two Oakleigh South men, one 46-year-old man and a 44-year-old man, at the scene.

They were both later charged with intentionally cause injury and recklessly cause injury.

The 44-year-old was also charged with possess controlled weapon.

The men were bailed by police and are to appear at Melbourne Magistrate's Court at a later date.
